Charles Massegee

Charles and Beverly Massegee were awarded the Roy Fish Life-Time Achievement Award for vocational evangelists at the Texas Evangelism Conference in Houston, February 25, 2014. In addition to being a harvest evangelist and revivalist, Charles conducts Bible Conferences, using the Book of Revelation and Bible Prophecy in a contemporary way, to attract large crowds, bring about real revival in the hearts of God's people, and salvation to the lost. Charles and Beverly have consistently averaged over 30 week meetings a year for 44 years. They travel in a motor home, and minister by faith to any size church.

Charles' father and grand-father served the Lord as full-time evangelists and pastors for over 70 years each, starting 19 churches as a result of tent crusades. Both are now with the Lord. Charles gave his life to Christ when he was nine years old, and has served the Lord ever since, being called and anointed by God to preach and teach the gospel when he was eighteen. Charles and his family travel full-time throughout the United States in their motor home. Charles has served three terms as president of the National Conference of Southern Baptist Evangelists. He also has served one term as Vice President and two terms as President of the Conference of Texas Baptist Evangelists.They make no charge for their ministry. They go where they are invited, trusting the Lord to take care of their needs.
